I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor (MBACP) and am Registered as a Member with the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists, the Counselling Body and work within their Code of Ethics with short and long-term clients. Humanistic/Person-Centered - looking at the here and now. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy - looking at your core beliefs, challenging negative thoughts and perceptions, irrational beliefs and behaviours. What Do I Provide?: Short and long-term counselling to meet each client's needs. Individual and Couple Counselling as required. Confidentiality: All counselling material is confidential. However, as part of the BACP requirement that all Counsellors are in regular supervision, some counselling material may be taken for discussion into supervion with a view to provide a therapeutic counselling service for the client. The name of the client is not disclosed. Fees: Normally, fees are £60.00 for individual counselling whilst £70.00 for Couple Counselling. The first session lasts for one and half hours: 1.5 hours (as it is an Assessment Session and collating background information). Individual first session costs (£90= £60+£30) Couple's first session costs: (£105= (£70+£35) COVID: However, due to recent Covid-19 emergence, the fees are currently as follows: Individual fees cost( First session with Assessment: £52.50 = £35.00+£17.50). Thereafter, the cost of individual session would be £35.00 weekly. Couples fees cost ( First session with Assessment: £67.50 = £45.00+£22.50) . Thereafter, the cost of couples session would be £45.00 weekly. Reduced fees may be negotiated for students and unwaged individuals. Cancellation: If appointments are cancelled with less than 24 hours of notice, then the full fee will still be chargeable. |
